At long last we judges of the 06-07 Boolean Soup game programming competition have emerged from our isolation cocoons to blink in the sunlight and present the results! After thorough deliberation and discussion, we have found DTM’s Unholy War the supreme achievement of the competition, and award it first place. Close on its heels was Ariel Yust’s and Eckolin’s Glowing Ninja, claiming the second place prize. Unfortunately we had to disqualify Linkernel’s Killer Ninja as it extensively depended on plagiarized graphics and sound, in conflict with the competition rules. Check out what prizes the winners will receive in this thread, or go ahead and read the judges’ reviews: Unholy War: Rincewind’s review, TheMI3’s review, Woody’s review Glowing Ninja: Rincewind’s review, TheMI3’s review, Woody’s review Killer Ninja: Rincewind’s review, TheMI3’s review, Woody’s review Many thanks to the entrants of the competition for making this competition a success and to Rincewind for donating an absurd amount of his time and money to make it happen in the first place. ____________ boredome is the bitter fruit of too much routine |
