Just got it working on Vista! What tactics do you people use? Currently, my strategy's just to crank out a fuckton of light tanks...

I don't play Red alert. I liked Dune 2 a lot though, in the days... To bad it took up all of your harddrive space (I think it was something like 50 mb or so?) ____________ |

"Herr Hitler?" "Ja was ist los? Ich habe keine Zeit um hier zu stehen!" * gets electrocuted by handshake * With the soviets I used to build tons of power plants and surround my base with a shitload of tesla coils. Then I built 10 mammoth tanks and wiped them out. In Red alert 3 it's much better, because even the strongest unit has a weakness. so you're never invincible. ____________ Kwakkel |

We've been playing Red Alert 1 with many Boolean Soup'ers in 2006, and the general tactic was to create as much medium tanks as fast as possible. I liked to mix them with some Tesla tanks, too. At some point at a multiplayer map we even hit the unit limit together. As for creating as many light tanks as possible, that works too! We were all beaten by Adherbal once as he used only light tanks. They were hard to target (even to click them with the mouse as a target) because they were so fast and small, and were moved around constantly.
