True story - because I spent a good portion of my early childhood in Germany this combination is very normal to me, but a great many people in the UK think it's absolutely bizarre.

I think even most Dutchies like the fries-specific mayonaise variant better. Here it's called fritessaus, I wonder if it's a common condiment in the UK too? Still, fries are made for sate/mayo/onions anyway!

Fritessaus is a bit sweeter... Not too fond of it. This is something everyone hates on chips:  PS: Probably because it looks like vomit. I like it lol. --> Pickled gherkins + pickled cauliflower + pickled little onions. I believe some british eat vinegar based stuff on chips also. As a Brit I might be hung for treason here, but I have been converted to the mayo side and now prefer it to ketchup where chips are concerned.

I think mayo with fries is perfect but not with chipper chips. You haven't had french fries properly until you've had them in Antwerp. ____________ I see 57,005 people. |
