The original Fenix 0.84a FXI doesn't work on Windows Vista. For those that are still working on a Fenix 0.84a game like myself, or those that simply want to play an existing Fenix 0.84a game (the game galleries are filled with them) on Windows Vista:

Fenix 0.84a binaries for Windows Vista

I also increased the resolution limit to 2500x2500.

It should, yes (works on XP at least).

A side note: Woody discovered additive blending isn't working. Hmm. :annoyed:

No need to recompile, if they were compiled with Fenix 0.84a at least.

And additive blending works now. :)

That's the magic of find and replace in combination with lazyness. The limit is completely removed now.

Are there Vista problems with later versions of Fenix?

The problem has been fixed at some point (from what I can make up from the Spanish board around version 0.89x) and isn't there in the newest version.
