Turbulence

Turbulence is a vertical scrolling shooter in the style of Raiden and the magnificent XOP. It includes four levels, a plethora of enemies, insanely large bosses, six uberdestructive weapons, a wikka user-friendly level editor, and more cool stuff that I can't remember. It's also got a rather splendelicious soundtrack by The Advanced (Alibu), Resonance (Ferret), and Scarymoster (Me).

Excellent work. My only criticism of this game is that the powerups are perhaps a little too overkill. It makes them fun to use, when you have them, but in the later levels you come to rely on being lucky enough to grab one to start clearing the screen with ease. Other than that: ace graphics, gorgeous effects, great balance of fun and challengingness and it has a perfectly complimenting soundtrack. Well worth downloading.

Agreed with Frimkron... it's actually a great game - went slow on my comp but that was to be expected as I put the particles to an insane level XD. The soundtrack is quite catchy (good job!) and the effects are awesome. Maybe you could improve a bit on the background and maybe add more "randomness" instead of just a tileable scroll, but that's understandable :). The two-player mode rocks too as I was able to play some fun moments with my sister - only way I went past level 1. Reminded me of Raptor, good game too (and this is a good point for you ^^). I consider a bit hard to notice the enemy bullets in the background and so much explosions, but that's no problem. The graphics too are awesome (nice job on the ships)

It doesn't take a genious to realize this is a quality game. From the moment it is turned on, right through the intro alone. And the game itself... Great graphics, great gameplay, great music, great explosions...

Great game. Explosions, fire and particle effects are all looking very damn neat. And I love the bosses. The game is a bit hard though, but overall the gameplay is good. The level backgrounds are a bit boring and could use some improvements.
