Is FL studio worth the 50$? I tried the demo and i found it mighty easy to make a beat, even with my pathetically limited music skills, but i wonder if there isnt a free/cheaper alternative..

You can already make cool stuff with only the demo version (you can't save your FLP files though). There are many more (free) programs you can do amazing stuff with, but I think FL Studio is fairly easy. Did you listen to my RPG battle theme? It was made in FL Studio.
