If you want to study every pixel, use lossless (PNG) And text looks crap in JPG because it's often too aliased. Looking back on this, I think I just can't stand low quality images. >_<;; I mean all the pictures I make, I save as pngs. It pains me to decrease the quality by saving as jpgs. I can't stand to ruin the poor things. And yes, Dennis, Ferretgames is currently down. According to Ferret, it'll be back up soon. ____________ My site still needs updating and redesigning. I tested it, a PNG was 10 MB and a JPG was 200 kB, and you could NOT see any difference. (the upload timed out for the PNG but I'll upload it tonight :))JPG is only good for photos though (that's why photo cameras use it) ____________ |
